This site shows the pewter jewellery products made by Lawrence Gibson of Sundried Jewellery in his workshop near Truro in Cornwall, South West England. Lawrence hand makes all of this pewter jewellery and is well known for his innovative designs. The jewellery is based on the use of pewter, but also includes various non-precious materials.
All of the Sundried Jewellery current products are included and the shopping cart system gives a convenient method for you to order them. The product range includes bracelets, both drop and stud earrings, necklaces and pendants. Full details of the jewellery are given, along with photographs.

About the Artist - Lawrence Gibson
His view of the influences and background leading to his designs.
Having lived in Cornwall on the Lizard peninsula since the age of five, it would be hard not to have been influenced one way or another by what’s around me. I began to appreciate things a lot more having returned from Cardiff University in 1994 with a degree in product design, as it was then that I started surfing and naturally spent a lot more time at the beach. It's the things I’ve seen and found at the waters edge that have ultimately influenced the style of my pewter jewellery.
I learnt to make moulds and cast in pewter whilst pattern making for a model car company and decided to apply what I had learnt to making a product of my own. The process immediately lent itself to jewellery, a useable, wearable, tactile object.
With help from the Princes Trust and Cornwall Action Team, I was able to purchase essential moulding and casting equipment and get the business started. I would sincerely like to thank everybody who has helped and encouraged me to get this far.
